The bicycle market is in full swing. New technologies and developments such as GPS sensors and IoT offer opportunities for new products. Consumers also have more and more choices, whether it concerns buying, leasing, financing, or bike-sharing. At Pon.Bike, we translate this dynamically into solutions so that our customers continue to cycle! Pon.Bike’s Digital Development department devises, designs, and builds digital solutions for Gazelle, Kalkhoff, Focus, and BBB a.o.. We are building consumer websites and dealer portals, among other things.

Your mission:
Move the FOCUS and Kalkhoff Bikes website to the next level and create an outstanding digital user experience for our riders.
Developing and optimizing complex, innovative web projects using the latest technologies and agile approaches.
Accompanying the transition from a fully Magento-based PHP front- and backend to a frontend based on Vue.js, Nuxt.js and Typescript.
Implementation of semi-complex frontend modules in a microservice architecture with Vue.js, Nuxt.js and Typescript.
Collaborate and innovate in agile, cross-functional Scrum teams to define, design and implement new features and improvements in our solutions.
Align and collaborate with developers in Germany and the Netherlands on a regular basis overcoming cultural differences and language barriers.
Job requirements
To perform this role successfully, you must be a passionate developer: you get energy from building beautiful solutions. You are continuously learning and keeping a close eye on the community.
At least three years of relevant experience in development in Typescript in combination with a framework (Nuxt, Angular, React, Vue).
Expertise in creating template code (HTML5/CSS Tailwind) for different browsers and devices.
User experience with git.
Enjoy agile working methods and cross-functional teamwork.
Experience in dealing with e-commerce systems is an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of English (B2-level) and German (Native or at least C1-level).
Passion for cycling is more then a pré.

The first meeting is with our tech lead and a developer.
Then you do an assessment where one of the team leads joins.
You then have a second meeting with a Product Owner and the IT business partner. In this meeting, we will discuss the assessment.
If the assessment and the second interview are positive, you will receive a proposal no later than the next day.
